Programs

The Programs Committee is responsible for developing annual educational, professional development and networking opportunities for members and healthcare information professionals in the New England community. The focus of this committee is to provide a variety of event formats and session topics with speakers that are leaders in their respective healthcare fields. The committee volunteers are responsible for determining event topics, speakers, types of programs, logistics, and creating post-event surveys. Other responsibilities include:

• Own, manage and update the NE HIMSS Calendar of Events as needed
• Research and evaluate event locations
• Set up registration table & signage for in person events
• Identifying, vetting, and coordinating with speakers for in person events and webinar
