Week 6

Day 36 - Sunday, July 2 - Prayer Focus: Pray for businesses that support pro-life ministries.

• Bible Verse: It is well with the man who deals generously and lends; who conducts his affairs with justice. Psalms 112:5
• Prayer: Heavenly Father, please bless the businesses that support pro-life ministries, and reward them in your gracious way. Please use their contributions to protect more babies, moms and families through these pro-life ministries. Lord, please use the testimonies of the business owners to inspire and encourage more businesses to join in support of pro-life ministries.

Day 37 - Monday, July 3 - Prayer Focus: Pray for churches.

• Bible Verse: He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. Revelation 2:29
• Prayer: Heavenly Father, we ask you to speak to churches through the power of the Spirit and your holy Word about the sanctity of life. Please illuminate the truth in the hearts of the congregations so that we see the value of preborn babies. Please call your churches to commit to supporting pro-life ministries.

Day 38 - Tuesday, July 4 - Prayer Focus: Pray for courageous pastors, priests and elders.

• Bible Verse: Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood. Acts 20:28
• Prayer: Heavenly Father, please endow pastors with courage and faithfulness to preach the truth about life. Please raise up more courageous church leaders who can lead the congregations to fight for preborn babies and care for their mothers. 

Day 39 - Wednesday, July 5 - Prayer Focus: Pray for Churches not yet supporting Pro-Life Mississippi.

• Bible Verses: Love one another with brotherly love, outdo one another in showing honor. Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer, contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality. Romans 12: 10 - 13
• Prayer: Our Father in Heaven, I pray you open the spiritual eyes of church leaders and Christians who do not yet support Pro-Life Mississippi, so they may see the truth that the preborn babies bear the image of God. Please help them to fear You and to love the babies.

Day 40 - Thursday, July 6 - Prayer Focus: Pray for volunteers.

• Bible Verse: Behold, I tell you, raise your eyes and observe the fields, that they are white for harvest. John 4:35
• Prayer: Father in Heaven, I ask you to provide more pro-life volunteers to save babies and help women and families. Please expand the mission field and give volunteers courage and wisdom in all circumstances. Lord, in our work for you, may we find you. In our efforts to change the world, may we ourselves be changed. In our struggle to build a Culture of Life, may we find life eternal. *

Day 41 - Friday, July 7 - Prayer Focus: Pray for pro-life leaders.

• Bible Verse: I came so that they would have life, and have it abundantly. John 10:10
• Prayer: Heavenly Father, please protect pro-life leaders from attack. Please give them the vision and wisdom to lead pro-life ministries. Lord, please use them as disciple makers to train future leaders. Lord God, we thank you for our salvation in Jesus Christ. We thank you for the call he gives us – Not a call to sit in a corner cowering in fear over our enemies, mystified about how to overcome the Culture of Death, despondent because of our sins, or worried about the perceived political strength of our opponents. Rather, You give us a call to stand victorious in the light of the Resurrection and to proclaim to the Culture of Death: “You have been conquered! You have no place here, No power to defeat the forces of truth and goodness!” *

Day 42 - Saturday, July 8 - Praise Focus: Thank God for His providence to guide and provide for Pro-Life Mississippi.

• Bible Verse: Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; For His mercy is everlasting. Psalms 118:1
• Prayer: Lord, your mercy is everlasting. This is the reason why Pro-Life Mississippi has been doing wonderful work in the past. We give all glory and thanks to you. We pray you continue to guide the ministries and provide all we need. We trust you because you are good. Lord Jesus, we rejoice in Your example of unselfish love, Dying for us while we were yet sinners, And continuing to bless us Though we can never repay You. Through your Divine Providence, guide the work of Pro-Life Mississippi. Send them many volunteers, leaders and generous benefactors that it can continue its mission in building a Culture of Life.*
