March is National Kidney Month and

National Nutrition Month.

If you are living with IgA Nephropathy, or supporting someone who is, you have likely heard many medical terms during appointments. Understanding these terms is an important part of managing kidney health with confidence.

This month, the IgA Nephropathy Foundation is launching 10 Terms to Know, breaking down essential kidney health language in clear, patient-friendly terms to help you feel more informed and empowered.

Nutrition also plays an important role in kidney health. In recognition of National Nutrition Month, we have created a video explaining some quick nutrition tips.

Education is a powerful tool. Whether it is understanding your lab results or making informed choices at the grocery store, knowledge supports stronger decisions and better conversations about your care.

Join us throughout March as we continue to prioritize awareness, education, and progress for the IgAN community.

March is National Kidney Month, and I am sharing something important.

I live with IgA Nephropathy.

This journey has required me to learn, to ask questions, and to stay engaged in my care. Understanding my disease has helped me feel more confident in appointments and more informed about the decisions that affect my health.

Living with a rare kidney disease is not always easy, but education and community make a difference.

If you are newly diagnosed, you are not alone. If you are supporting someone with IgAN, your presence matters.

Awareness leads to progress. Progress leads us closer to a cure.

OPTION 2

This National Kidney Month, I am raising awareness for IgA Nephropathy.

Living with IgAN has changed how I think about my health, my future, and the importance of staying informed. It has also shown me the strength of this community.

There is still so much work to be done, but every conversation and every shared story brings more understanding to this disease.

If you have never heard of IgA Nephropathy, now you have. If you are walking this path too, I see you.

Together, we continue to advocate, educate, and move toward better treatments and a cure.

OPTION 1
Living with IgA Nephropathy affects more than one person.

As a care partner, I have learned how important it is to understand lab results, treatment options, and the language of kidney health.

The more I learn, the better I can advocate, support, and encourage.

This National Kidney Month, I stand with the IgAN community and with the person I love.

OPTION 2

IgA Nephropathy is part of our family’s story.

As a caregiver, I may not have the diagnosis, but I carry the appointments, the lab results, the questions, and the quiet moments in between.

Learning the language of kidney health has helped me feel more prepared and more empowered.

This month, I honor every caregiver walking this path alongside someone they love.

You are seen. You are needed. You matter.
