March 24th

9:00 am & 10:30 am

Joyful shouts of hosanna ring in the air as Jesus enters Jerusalem. Soon, though, the shouts will resonate with ominous tones of condemnation and death.

This moving worship service will offer scripture, reflection, and powerful music as we are invited to follow Jesus as he enters Jerusalem and embraces all that the final week of his earthly life will bring.

March 28th

7:30 pm

Maundy comes from the Latin word mandatum, the first word of the phrase “A new commandment I give unto you, that you love one another, as I have loved you,” spoken by Jesus to his disciples in the upper room after washing their feet.

This will be a powerful worship service offering communion, as we remember Jesus sharing the Last Supper with his disciples before his betrayal, and Tenebrae (Latin word meaning darkening), as the gradual darkening of the sanctuary reminds us of the darkness and weight of sin that Jesus assumed for our benefit.

March 29th

7:30 pm St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church

Jesus was betrayed, arrested, and condemned to crucifixion. In an amazing act of love for us, Jesus accepted the shame of the cross, such that humankind may experience reconciliation and peace.

We will gather with local UMC congregations at St. Andrew’s UMC in Warminster to reflect on the impact and meaning of the cross.

March 31st

9:00 am & 10:30am

Christ is Risen! Condemnation and the cross yields death, yet death cannot contain the life-giving love of God. As stunned and grieving followers look to a tomb, Christ meets them to reveal the beauty of new, resurrection life.

Our joyous resurrection worship services will include inspiring music and a meaningful message to celebrate the new life we receive in Christ.

"No one has greater love than this, to lay down one’s life for one’s friends."

– John 15:13:
