What will I be doing?

We have opportunities for the Board of Directors, President, Vice President, Business Operations Director, Fishing Operations Director, Treasurer, Community Development, Volunteer Coordinator

Perhaps it's an Ambassador or simply an event volunteer.

How much time will I be committing?

Members of the Board of Directors committ to 1 meeting a month, either inperson or on zoom.

They are responsible for the roles of that office, according to current & standard best practices for 501(c)3 nonprofits based on IRS, State Statue, Roberts Rules of Order and professionalism. The current schedule is the 2nd Thursday of the Month, 5:30 to 7:30 at the Hardwood Creek Library in Forest Lake, MN. This is adjusted as needed to meet the needs of all members of the group on an annual review basis.

Ambassadors committ to a specific trip or event and serve as the Chair.

Event Volunteer

These positions are set up as needed with a 2, 4, or all day committment depending on the event.

Length of term. Event Volunteers & Ambassadors are based on you and when you want to commit.

Board of Directors are 2 to 5 years.

We suggest you start in one of the Director Positions and then if interested cycle into the President Position.
