Salvation Army Angel Tree

Every Christmas there are children who do not receive gifts because their families are struggling financially and cannot afford the expense. This year we wanted to make Christmas special for the children in our area. Our goal is to provide gifts for 30 children. In a few weeks we will be setting up a Christmas tree in the front entrance of the Parish Center with the children's wishlists. If you'd like to sign up for a child, you can sign up on the sign up sheet. We will need your contact information and the name of the child you signed. up for. Gifts can be dropped off in the church office during office hours. The deadline is Dec 8th. The Salvation Tree Program has been running for over 40 years to ensure that these children have a wonderful holiday season and we are so excited to be supporting their cause!

Board of Childcare

Every year we support the Board of Childcare in providing Christmas gifts for children. This local organization is in connection with the UMC they provide residential housing for children in the foster system and for undocumented children. For many, BOC has been a tradition here at PUMC but for those who have never sponsored a child, it's pretty easy to do!

How to sign up, we have created a signup genius where you can sign up for a child. Select your child and we will email you their wishlist. Wishlists are approximately $100. Deadline for gift drop off is Dec 2nd. If you need more information contact the church office!
