Class Offerings

Michelle's Art Pad offers classes for public school students as well as homeschoolers.

These classes are offered on a "come when you can" basis. This is how it works: if you are interested in the class, you click the link below and join the email list for that class. Then depending on the class, you will get an email the day before asking "who is coming?" If you are planning on having your child attend, you just Venmo the class fee with your child's name and class name and then show up at class. We use this to prepare our supplies for class, so there are no refunds once you have registered.

If you want to get the email for ALL classes, you must register on each email list!

Now for the classes!

Petite Picasso - Monday 5:30 - 6:30 pm

Who: This is a multi-age class Ages 5 - 8. You are welcome to register younger siblings of students in attendance as long as they are not disruptive to the class. Students younger than 5 must have an adult stay with them during class.

What: This class will go through the various Elements of Art. Each week is a different project and projects will differ from the class on Saturday (just in case you have a child who LOVES art so much they want to participate in both!

When: Class will meet every Monday pm from 5:30 - 6:30 pm. Please arrive at least 5 minutes early to get children settled in. Class starts promptly at 5:30. Emails will go each Sunday asking who is attending class the next day. If your child is attending, you just Venmo $10 per child with their name. Supplies are put out based on these registrations, so there are no refunds for missed classes.

Mommy & Me Mini Masters

Monday 9:30 -10:15 am

Who: This is a multi-age class for care-givers and the child ages 2-5. Students must have an adult stay with them during class to help them stay on task and follow instructions.

What: This class is about Process Art, which means we will be using art materials and getting messy while making beautiful creations. There will be quite a bit of abstract art - but again, it's the process that we will be focussing on and how colors blend together.

When: Class will meet every Monday am from 9:30 am - 10:15 am. Emails will go each Sunday asking who is attending class the next day. If your child is attending, you just Venmo $10 per child with their name. Supplies are put out based on this registration process, so there are no refunds for missed classes. Plan to arrive 5 minutes before class starts so we can start on time.

Monday Masters 3:30 - 5:00 pm

Who: This is a multi-age class Ages 7-11.

What: This class will explore a verity of art styles, materials and techniques. They will use everything from acrylics, to markers and work on craftmanship so that they are producing their best works. Class is done using a directed drawing teaching style so that I show them what and how to do the steps and then it is their turn. Projects will be different from the Wednesday class so students can attend both.

When: Class will meet every Monday pm from 3:30 - 5:00 pm. We realize that schools all let out at various times, so although class is scheduled for 3:30, it will start NO LATER than 3:40 to allow for everyone to get to class. Emails will go each Sunday asking who is attending class the next day. If your child is attending, you just Venmo $10 per child with their name. Supplies are put out based on these registrations, so there are no refunds once you register.

Thursday Masters 3:30 - 5:00 pm

Who: This is a multi-age class Ages 7-11.

When: Class will meet every Thursday pm from 3:30 - 5:00 pm. We realize that schools all let out at various times, so although class is scheduled for 3:30, it will start NO LATER than 3:40 to allow for everyone to get to class. Emails will go each Thursday asking who is attending class the next day. If your child is attending, you just Venmo $15 per child with their name. Supplies are put out based on these registrations, so there are no refunds once you register.
