See you Sunday!

Lent study 2025! Beginning on Sunday, March 9th, 4-5 pm in room 303, led by Shae Wiens. The only book you'll need for this study is your Bible (and maybe a notebook)! Lent is not only a time of giving things up, but also taking things up. We will be taking up the discipline of daily study using the lectionary's daily readings. Whether "lectionary" is a new word for you, or it's already in your vocabulary, this study is for you! Sign up in the Gathering Place or text Shae at (830)237-2444.

February – Northeast Senior Assistance (NESA)

Northeast Senior Assistance, NESA, is a 501 C 3 non-profit organization. They began in 1984 when they realized that many citizens were isolated and had no one to help them. They welcome volunteers who want to “pay it forward” and connect with older people who have asked for help from the community. Their mission is to reflect God’s Love by providing transportation and other services to enhance the quality of life and independence for seniors. Their services are free and help older adults continue to live in their own homes, around their familiar environment, which is where they want to be. Volunteers drive them to their doctor visits, remain with them during that time and then drive them home. Volunteers are vital to the success of this organization in addition to much-needed funds. Your support and contributions enable NESA to meet their mission to improve the lives of older people in their community! Click here
