Established in 1971, Womanline provides professional counseling services for adults, youth, and children, specializing in sexual abuse, domestic violence, childhood trauma, and eating disorders.
Womanline offers specialized, trauma-informed, confidential psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families. Womanline focuses on holistic therapy that treats the whole person by addressing the spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional aspects of a person.
Family Services has been at the forefront of designing programs and delivering services that meet the needs of individuals, families, and communities for over 129 years. In 2022, the Ohio Attorney General’s Office recognized us as a Trauma Recovery Center (TRC).
The TRC is here to empower you to learn how to navigate through the effects caused by trauma. We offer safe and confidential services through platforms that make sense to you.
SCAN utilizes the I Can Tell curriculum, which is a school and community-based program for Pre-K through 6th graders, aimed at reducing child sexual abuse. This free 60-minute program breaks down secrecy around abuse by teaching children that they can tell an adult if they are feeling unsafe. This curriculum fulfills the requirements of Erin’s Law and is certified through the State of Ohio:
SCAN now also provides sexual abuse prevention training for adults aged 18 or older by utilizing the Stewards of Children curriculum.
Since 2016, SCAN has served over 50 schools, and in the past two years served over 60,000 children.
Proudly serving the Deaf community of Southwestern Ohio since 1978 to strengthen families and communities through counseling, education, community building, and advocacy. Our goal is to provide service, support, and advocacy to meet the needs of the Deaf, Deaf-Blind, and Hard of Hearing Communities and to increase community awareness of their needs and rights.
KODA (Kids of Deaf Adults) Camp
KODA Camp is a one-week overnight camp for youth ages 9 to 15 who are children of Deaf Adults. KODA’s participate in a fun-filled week of outdoor activities while focusing on positive youth development, through team building, leadership, self-esteem, and prevention education activities. Youth have the opportunity to meet other KODA’s, build relationships, and make lasting friendships.

Accepts the following: Medicaid, Medicare, several private insurances, and self-pay. ADAMHS board funding may be available if eligible.
Yes! Family Services is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. You'll receive a receipt for tax purposes. To claim your 2025 tax deduction, donate by December 31, 2025.
How will my donation be used?
Your donation directly supports trauma-informed counseling, support groups, prevention education, and case management services. Every dollar helps us provide care for survivors of violence, trauma, and abuse across our community programs including Womanline, the Trauma Recovery Center, SCAN, KODA Camp, and Community Services for the Deaf.
