| The Meso Foundation is pleased to offer three travel reimbursement awards to support junior investigators dedicated to mesothelioma management and research to help offset the cost of attending:
The International Symposium on Malignant Mesothelioma The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center 1601 Lake Robbins Drive The Woodlands, Texas 77380 October 22-23rd 2026
The awards are intended to support early-career investigators with opportunities to learn from established investigators and clinicians, build professional connections, and contribute to the future of mesothelioma research and care.
Applicants must be: Completing terminal training (e.g., fellowship, postdoctoral or other advanced training program) or Within four years of their initial faculty appointment.
Required for submission: Full name, contact information, current title/position, institution/organization, current curriculum vitae (CV), and letter of support (from a mentor, supervisor, department chair)
Awardees will receive:
- A $2,000 travel award to assist with lodging and transportation
- Complimentary Symposium registration
Awardees must complete reimbursement form within 30 days of Symposium.
Awards granted based on:
- Demonstrated interest and/or experience in mesothelioma management or research
- Career stage and potential for future contributions to the field
- Strength of the letter of support
