Our camp is not just a summer getaway; it’s a vibrant playground for young minds, offering a safe and fun environment bursting with artistic adventures! With four thrilling one-week sessions, your child will dive into exciting realms like music technology, coding, virtual reality, mixed media art, dance, and even aviation history! In partnership with SheDigital, LLC, campers will have an interactive experience that will ignite their imagination and inspire a lifelong love for learning. Summer Camp Week One Spatial Information



We are excited to dive into immersive 3D creation in VR with your student! We will be learning to build on an immersive 3D Metaverse platform called Spatial.io. In order to get set up for our classes, your student will need access to a free Spatial Account. As their guardian, we need you help them set-up their account and record their username/password for them to bring to the class. This will take a few moments of your time.

Summer Camp Rules and Guidelines

Please take a moment to read and review our summer camp rules and guidelines from the comfort of your home with your family and summer camp participants. This collaborative review is not just a means to ensure everyone is well-informed about our policies and procedures; it is a vital part of our mission of fostering community engagement. Your support makes this summer camp an inspiring and memorable adventure for everyone involved! 

Summer Camp Hours - Drop off and Pick Up

Camp hours are scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with complimentary pre-care available from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. For pick-up, parents are requested to arrive by 3:30 p.m. Please be advised that a late pick-up fee of $5 will be applied for every 5-minute interval past 3:30 p.m., so we kindly ask that you notify our staff as soon as possible if you anticipate being late. Additionally, we offer an optional after-camp care program from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at a cost of $50 per week or $20 per day, which requires pre-registration.


After Camp Hours

After camp care is available from 3:30 – 5:00 PM. Campers must be pre-register and all fees paid. Snack is not provided.

Summer Camp Forms

It's essential to complete and submit your forms requiring your original signature to ensure a seamless and enriching experience Summer Camp. You have the flexibility to print, email, or fill out these forms upon your arrival on the first day of camp, allowing for ease of participation. If you choose to email, please send your completed forms as a PDF attachment with the subject line: "Summer Camp paperwork for [insert camper's name]." For optimal compatibility, we recommend using Acrobat PDF files, as other software like Google or Apple may not work with our system. Kindly direct your completed forms to acccinfo@fultoncountyga.gov.

Breakfast, Lunch, Snack and Refreshment - Not Provided

Please ensure that your camper has a hearty breakfast before arriving at camp. All campers must bring a brown-bag lunch, two to three snacks, and a drink from home. They should pack their favorite meals and beverages in an insulated bag with their name clearly displayed. If a camper brings a microwaveable meal, it must have a heating time of 3 minutes or less.

 

Meals must be eaten during designated lunch and break times. Lunch is scheduled for 11:30 a.m., and there will be three snack breaks: one in the morning, afternoon, and an additional break at 3 p.m. during camp pick-up, before after-camp care begins.

 

Please note that food delivery services, such as Uber Eats, are prohibited. Only parents and family members are allowed to deliver meals.

Electronic Devices at Camp (smartphones, smartwatches, tablets, laptops, gaming consoles)

EDAMCC has an eleven-PC media lab that will be available for camper use. Campers are prohibited from using cell phones and other electronic devices during camp hours, except in emergencies or with permission from She Digital, LLC for assignments. This includes smartphones, smartwatches, tablets, laptops, gaming consoles, and any other devices deemed prohibited. For more information about electronic device policy, see guidelines.
