UTC Pumpkin Scavenger Hunt: Official Rules

NO PURCHASE/PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

1.   GENERAL INFORMATION:

The UTC District is hiding pumpkins for our community to find during a fun fall giveaway. The UTC Pumpkin Scavenger Hunt begins at 12:00 PM EST on Monday, October 23, 2023, and ends when the last hidden pumpkin is found. Clues will be posted to UTC Sarasota Facebook and Instagram accounts periodically until all pumpkins are claimed. (@UTCSarasota)

1.   SCAVENGER HUNT AREA

Pumpkins will be hidden in the following areas: The Market at UTC, The Square at UTC, The Shoppes at UTC and The West District at UTC. Pumpkins will be hidden in outdoor locations, only. Pumpkins will NOT be hidden in the street or in the parking lots. Pumpkins will NOT be hidden inside any stores, restaurants, or in the Mall at UTC.

3. HOW TO PLAY:

To enter, participants must be the first person to locate one of the fifty (50) mini hidden pumpkins or the one (1) grand prize pumpkin. Limit one (1) prize per eligible person. UTC reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to reject any entry. By participating in the scavenger hunt, participants agree to abide by these Official Rules. After a pumpkin has been found, it’s no longer in play, entrant must take it with them or discard properly.

4.   DRAWING:

The first (50) winners to find a mini pumpkin and the first (1) winner to find the grand prize pumpkin and complete the online entry form will win a prize.

5.   WINNER NOTIFCATION:

The fifty (50) winners and (1) grand prize winner will be the first ones to find the pumpkin and attached instructions. The winners will be notified via email on or about October 31, 2023.

6.   PRIZES

Fifty (50) mini pumpkin winners will each receive a $10 gift card to a business within the defined UTC District. One (1) grand prize winner will receive a voucher valid for a one night hotel stay at any of the three UTC hotels. Grand prize winner will be contacted with more prize details. Prize is non-transferable; no substitutions allowed. Allow 1-2 weeks for delivery of Prize, pending winner verification.

7.   GENERAL CONDITIONS:

By participating and searching for a pumpkin in the UTC Pumpkin Scavenger Hunt, each entrant acknowledges that he/she has read these Official Rules.
