Welcome! We are U.S. Missionaries with Assembly of God

Creg (Kreg) and Rebecca Gomez

Kreg loves preaching at shelters and sharing his testimony or teaching at men's group's. Each month we have the pleasure of bringing the word to people who are hungry for change! Every Monday Kreg is at C.A.S.S shelter bringing the word and worship with his team! This is one of the ways we bring the hope of Jesus to the lost, broken and bound every day.

Rebecca is a powerful speaker who has been described as a gifted communicator. She loves each opportunity to bring a Jesus inspired message to a new congregation! Rebecca also has a powerful testimony and speaks at retreats, rehab homes, and churches about reaching the marginalized. Her teaching and experience points people to Jesus.

Urban Outreach South Phoenix

OUR HEART: To guide people toward the Cross, believing that God's Word holds the power to transform even the most rebellious heart and bring hope to the lost. (Luke 15)

OUR VISION: To reach those who are often overlooked—individuals facing homelessness, addiction, mental illness, and poverty. (Mathew 8:28-34)

OUR MISSION: Through street outreach, we meet people right where they are, offering not only physical assistance but also a message of redemption and renewal that only Jesus can provide. (Luke 14:23)

THE OVERFLOW: Walking with people through one on one discipleship as they navigate through the streets, shelters, or recovery centers. Leading men and women to the local church and supporting individuals through aftercare. Pouring into the community through annual backpack drives, kids camp, Thanksgiving for the unhoused community and an Angel Tree Event at 2:TEN Church. (Psalm 23:5 "You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You have anointed and refreshed my head with oil; My cup overflows.")

As part of Gospel Outreach, we collaborate with AG districts, networks, and local churches to serve underserved communities. Our work focuses on addressing immediate needs with compassion—providing essential resources to those in crisis, offering care and spiritual support to children impacted by poverty or trauma, and restoring dignity and hope to those who have lost their way.

We believe in the power of partnerships and the importance of connection. Our dedicated volunteers serve as the first point of contact for those in need, addressing urgent physical and spiritual challenges. Once these needs are met, we share the Gospel and help individuals connect to a supportive AG fellowship or ministry for ongoing discipleship and support.

At Urban Outreach South Phoenix, we invite you to join us in making a difference. Together, we can bring the love of Jesus to the streets, offer hope to the hopeless, and witness lives transformed by the grace of God.

Be a part of this incredible journey—help us change lives and build a brighter future for our community!

OUTREACH

We prayed for this man at one of our Thanksgiving outreach events. One year later, he came to another outreach and asked for placement. We soon had the pleasure of attending church together where he even brought a friend!

Urban Kids at Granite Hills Camp 2026

"Jesus said let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."

Mathew

19:14

Inner city kids ministry is a big part of our cup running over! Being involved with the next generation gives us the boost we need in the joy of the LORD! As we walk it out in the streets, much of our work is seeing some of the hardest parts of life in a huge city like Phoenix. We respond to the difficult calls that come after loss and when people are facing the streets or addiction. Working with the youth and helping to disciple the next generation is the highlight of much of our work. Moments in worship and enjoying camp at granite hills make the hard work worth it as we can see the immediate benefits of investing in not only the future of America, but also the future leaders of the Kingdom and the movement of Christ's Gospel!

OVERFLOW : Back to School Success

Much of what we do is fill the needs of the community. We held a successful backpack drive in South Phoenix at 2:TEN CHURCH and over 220 backpacks were distributed to the community.

With the overflow of supplies we were able to support a Sister in Christ from Africa. We had the honor to supply backpacks, markers, folders, pens, pencils and glue sticks to a Christian ministry in Africa! We also were able to provide kids clothes, and shoes! Education matters because the next generation matters. World missions matters and we are blessed to be able to continue to make strides towards Kingdom sized goals and Kingdom sized missions.

Discipleship through lifestyle:

Missionary life is hard. Many times we feel the pressures that come from being bi-vocational and working to support ourselves as we pour our time and finances into the people in the streets and families in need. We have had personal struggles and battles that make the pace we keep seem like a marathon. Personal losses and pain have added fuel to our fire however and we see that now more than ever the word of God needs to be preached. There are so many who are hopeless and they don't know our hope is in Jesus. There are so many who needlessly follow the cycle of addiction because its all they've ever known. We believe that the best sermon you can ever preach is your lifestyle. Are you a kingdom builder, or a kingdom stopper? We believe in one on one relationships, that start within the family and expand to the church and out into the community, the city and the country. The young man in this picture came form a troubled past. He was prayed for. Fasted for and claimed for the kingdom before he even knew that there was a spiritual battle around him. Now he is a beacon of light for the youth and someone the next generation is drawn to. He is now the one who will pray and fight for kids who are on a troubled path. Jesus said make disciples. And he said to let the little children come!

Building Relationships

At Urban Outreach South Phoenix we believe that building genuine relationships is paramount to our mission. While reaching out into the community is essential, we believe that true breakthroughs require time, patience, and often professional services. Take, for instance, the story of a young man who has faced tremendous challenges. Through our commitment to one-on-one interactions, he has become more than just a statistic; he is known to us by name. We are continually moved to compassion as we support him on his journey, offering not only our prayers but also our unwavering assistance. Our focus is not on the numbers. We are not determined to bring thousands of people into shelters for only one night but to create relationships that are sustainable and long term wins for the Kingdom. For us, it is about the individual—the people we have had the pleasure to work with personally, who understand that we are here to receive them and walk alongside them. This is the heart of Urban Outreach South Phoenix, where every life matters deeply to us.

Matthew 25:40

40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

Please consider partnering with us to reach more people. We need sponsors that will help us go out and cultivate relationships so we can show people what the love of Jesus can do in their lives. Thank you so much for your heart.
