This presentation will be in the form of a moderated panel discussion and will include representation from a General Contractor (Lend Lease), a Waterproofing Applicator (All Sealants), a Design Consultant (Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates), and a Roofing Applicator (Combined Roofing). This important program will provide clarity on Air Barrier issues including specifying, installation, communication, scheduling, and roadblocks that can occur without this collaboration.

Personal Fall Arrest Systems (PFAS) have increased in use in the roofing industry over the past decade. More and more roofing contractors are relying on this method of fall protection to protect their workforce. However, this method comes with a “catch”. What happens after you fall? This seminar will cover rescue plans roofers need to consider when utilizing Personal Fall Arrest Systems and other important information to keep workers safe.

Mark Graham, NRCA’s Vice President of Technical Services, will present on the International Building Code requirements for wind resistance based on the new reference to the ASCE 7-16 Standard vs. the older ASCE 7-10 version.
