Who: The Chamber Orchestra of the Springs (Thomas Wilson, Music Director), with soloists Sabina Balsamo (soprano), Gabrielle Razafinjatovo (alto), Eapen Leubner (tenor), and Bradley Thompson (bass), and the Colorado Springs Chorale.
What: A special performance of Mozart's legendary Requiem, preceded by an audio-video guided look into the history of the piece, including the composers who helped finish the music after Mozart's death. Narrated by Robert Bruce (KCME), this performance explores the popular myths and legends around one of classical music's most famous works before performing the work in its entirety.
