Classes/Events Policy

Class/Event Refund Policy:

• For full refund, class cancellation must be made 14 days in advance before the first class date.
• Cancellations made after that time will receive any class kit they purchased, and they are welcome to come to Open Sew to get help with the project.
• In the event that Creekside Fabrics, Quilts, & Yarn must cancel a class, individuals who register for that class will be contacted and given a full refund.

Virtual Class/Program Policy:

• Creekside, Fabrics, Quilts, & Yarn provides some classes and other educational programs virtually.
• We will e-mail students within 30-mins of each class the necessary log-in details.
• For those registered students who are unable to attend the live class/program version, we will email out a link to the recorded version after the live class/program is completed, if available.
• Any class/program that is LIVE ONLY will be noted at the time of registration. No refund will be provided if the registered student misses the LIVE ONLY event.
• The recorded version link is ONLY available for viewing for a total of three (3) days from the time the recorded link is e-mailed to each registered student.
• The recorded link will only be visible to registered students.
• No refunds are available if the registered student is unable to attend the live class/program or watch the recorded link within the allocated three-day period of time.

Private Class Policy: In order to ensure staffing for your lesson, the following policy rules apply.

• Private lessons are available at $40/hour. (If you purchase a machine with Creekside Fabrics, Quilts, & Yarn, instructional private lessons are complimentary.)
• Private lessons must be scheduled by calling 585-492-4226.
• The class fee is due when appointment is scheduled and is non-refundable.
• If you need to cancel your private lesson (paying lessons or complimentary), it must be done within 14 days of the scheduled appointment. You have seven days to reschedule or your fee is forfeited.
• If you cancel in less than 14 days or no show for an appointment, your fee will be forfeited.
• If you cancel in less than 14 days or no show for your complimentary private lesson, you will be charged $35/hour for any future appointments.
