| Hello Living Springs Church Family,
Do you know that when we praise the Lord in the midst of hard things, it confuses the enemy?
When Paul and Silas were in Philippi, they were unjustly arrested, beaten, and thrown in prison. Perhaps you know the story… As they began to worship and lift their voices in praise, the presence of God came into that dark, rat-infested Roman prison. The Holy Spirit shook the injustice of that place to its foundation. Paul and Silas were released, the jailer and his household became born again, and a church was planted.
I believe we are coming into times when we need to know the power of worshipping the Lord with a joyful heart, no matter what circumstances we may be facing.
Paul later wrote to this same church, reminding them of this Kingdom principle: “Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!” Philippians 4:4 NKJV
When do we rejoice?
Not sometimes… Not just when things are going well… Always!
Let that be our heart’s cry today. You can choose to rejoice… You can choose to be thankful… And no matter what’s going on, you can choose to lift your voice in praise. Please remember this: worshipping the Lord joyfully is the fastest way to see heaven released in our circumstances.
I pray the Lord will encourage your heart today. I pray that you will know that you are blessed and highly favored. I asked the Lord to give you understanding so that you can see that no weapon formed against you will prosper and that every tongue that is speaking against you, you will rise up and condemn. This is our inheritance. We serve the King of kings and Lord of lords.
Let’s choose to rejoice and be thankful in every situation, and may the presence of God shake the injustice that is coming against you, your family, and our communities.
Maranatha!
Pastor Rob
By the way… I wanted to mention that I really love being your Pastor! 😊 |
