| In June, we hosted a Monthly Membership Luncheon featuring mayors from Lee's Summit, Independence, Blue Springs and Raytown to discuss key issues impacting their cities and the collaborative efforts underway to strengthen our regional community.
Together, they explored topics like economic development, public safety and the future outlook of each city. Ultimately, we learned that with cooperation and a shared vision, they're working to build a stronger, more connected community for all.
Special thanks to our luncheon sponsor, Howdy Homemade Ice Cream. They helped cool us all down with free ice cream samples served up by several Howdy Homemade Ice Cream Heroes.
Thank you to our panelists: Mayor Bill Baird, Lee's Summit; Mayor Chris Lievsay, Blue Springs, Mayor Mike McDonough, Raytown; and Mayor Rory Rowland, Independence.
We'd also like to thank Chef Aristo's Curbside, Catering and Eatery for the amazing lunch, and the Missouri Innovation Campus for hosting us. |
