ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

The CIFP programme was designed by Keith Checkley & Associates of London, UK, in partnership with the Jamaica Institute of Financial Services and close consultation from the financial services industry, to help financial institutions develop and certify competency levels for professional risk managers. 


The programme is accredited by the Chartered Banker Institute, Scotland, UK (the oldest Banking Institute in the world), approved by the Financial Services Commission (Jamaica) and is endorsed by the Caribbean Association of Banks. 


The Certified International Financial Planner Programme is an international designation that represents the highest standard of excellence in Financial Planning. Financial Planners adhere to high ethical standards and have the theoretical and practical knowledge to assist clients in creating a plan that's tailored to their unique financial situation.

The CIFP Programme utilizes blended learning and covers six (6) modules of intensive training delivered via a combination of eLearning and online interactive lectures. These modules are delivered by local and international lecturers who are seasoned professionals in their respective fields.

ASSESSMENT


Candidates in this programme will be certified after passing all six modules and the successful completion of a comprehensive Final Qualifying Exam.

CERTIFIED LEARNING


Approved by the Financial Services Commission (Jamaica) and can be used to satisfy the requirements of Regulations 2(1)(a)(iii) of The Securities (Licensing and Registration) Regulations.
