Law-abiding firearms owners should not be scapegoated or have their legally acquired property taken while the true causes of gun violence go unaddressed.

I ask you to respect the rights of responsible Canadians and to pursue policies that actually improve public safety. Please ensure that any new legislation targets criminals and smugglers — not law-abiding citizens. I believe that by working together, we can find real solutions that make our communities safer without undermining the traditions and rights of responsible firearms owners.
