Greetings CAA Annual Conference Exhibitors,


The 2024 CAA Annual Conference is only a week away. We look forward to seeing you in Pismo Beach, at the Vespera Resort.


Exhibitor tables will be located at the covered patio and designated section of the Vespera lobby.

Reminder: Tables will be assigned based on registration date; then upon first-come basis.

  • Setup: Monday, October 7 from 3:00PM – 5:00PM
  • Teardown: Wednesday, October 9, from 12:00 PM – 1:00PM

Conference Programs will be provided at registration.


Committee Meetings:

The CAA Education, Standards and Legislative Committees will meet Wednesday, October 8 from 2:30PM – 5:30PM, and the Executive Committee will meet on Thursday, October 10 from 8:00AM - 10:00AM. These meetings are for Assessors, their staffs and members and staff of the Board of Equalization.


Non-Government Attendees and Exhibitors are not permitted to attend the committee meetings.

Exhibitor Bingo

Exhibitors are encouraged to bring raffle items for the Wednesday BINGO Prize Drawing (no value specified).


We will provide attendees with a “BINGO” card which requires the they get a stamp from each exhibitor. Stamp cards turned in to the registration desk by Wednesday, October 9 at 10:30AM, will be eligible to win prizes during the drawing from 10:30AM – 10:45AM.


Winners will be informed that they can claim their prizes from the exhibitor table as they are selected. Exhibitors are also welcome to hold individual drawings at their tables.

Arrival & Parking

Vespera Resort is located at 147 Stimson Avenue, Pismo Beach, CA 93449.

  • Hotel check-in begins at 4:00PM
  • Guest checkout is 11:00AM


Discounted Valet is available at $15/vehicle per day and includes access to charging stations for electric vehicles.

Street Parking is also available; but not recommended as spaces can be difficult to come by.

Attire

Customary dress for the first day of the conference is business formal and business casual for the second day.


This year's Annual Conference Banquet attire is Aloha-themed.

Meals and Receptions

CAA Annual Conference registration includes all meal functions; excluding the Regional Luncheon on Wednesday, October 9, limited to Assessors only.

Hospitality Reception Details

Join us on the ocean of the Vespera Resort each evening for our Hospitality Reception.

  • Monday, October 7 (5:30PM - 7:00PM)
  • Tuesday, October 8 (5:30PM - 7:00PM)
  • Wednesday, October 9 (5:30PM - 6:45PM)

CAA-IT Conference

Registrants attending the CAA-IT Conference can access the full agenda; including topics, speakers and may attend the luncheon on Wednesday, October 9.
