Amy Amoroso is the Program Director for McNulty’s Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC) serving SBA Region II, covering New York and New Jersey. In this role, she serves as the primary point of contact for VBOC clients and oversees the delivery of key entrepreneurial training programs, including Boots to Business and Boots to Business: Reboot. Amy provides client counseling, manages case services, ensures program compliance and performance reporting, and collaborates with stakeholders and partner organizations. She also moderates outreach initiatives and networking events that support veteran entrepreneurship.
Amy is a subject matter expert in business plan development, financial analysis, business startup and growth strategies, business sales, small business lending, marketing, SDVOSB certification, and entrepreneurship education through the Boots to Business program.
She also trains and collaborates with VBOC staff on strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, program development, event planning, and marketing initiatives designed to expand awareness of services available to the Veteran community.
Amy is a board member of Alliance 180, is a founding member supporting initiatives tied to the United States–Mexico–Canada Agreement and contributes as a panel judge and counselor for the VETRN program. Her volunteer work includes supporting the American Red Cross, the Veterans Administration, and AMVETS Post 35.
In addition to her public service, Amy owns and operates her own small business and is a military spouse with more than 25 years of experience in business consulting.
She was also appointed by New York State Governor Kathy Hochul to serve as a member of the New York State Veterans Task Force. |
