| Hello Living Springs Church Family,
This past weekend, there were two parts to the message that I spoke on Sunday morning. One was a direct revelation that someone in our church received from the Lord regarding fear. I believe this word that they received was an encouragement to us from the Lord. Below is a part of this word that I believe the Lord wants to remind us of:
“My people, some of you are distressed and worried about what might happen to you in these future days that are coming upon the earth. Can I ask you why you are afraid? Why are you letting yourselves be consumed by fear? For you do know that fear is not from Me. The enemy would like to keep you from what I want to tell and show you…
But the good news is that you don’t have to accept fear because I have overcome fear.
I am going to reveal the power of the cross in these last days, and that revelation can be yours if you would like to appropriate it. I am happy to reveal it to you if you surrender to Me. Make Me Lord of your life, and I will show you freedom.
Freedom and power are what I would like for you to have.”
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” II Timothy 1:7 NKJV
May this word sink deep into our spirits.
Shalom, Pastor Rob |

Jeremiah & Gerose – Time Away
Jeremiah & Gerose Latina came to Living Springs Church two years ago. From the beginning, they showed their desire to serve Jesus in any way He asked. They currently lead in worship and Youth Ministry in Moose Jaw, and Jeremiah supports worship and tech in both locations. What some of you may not know is that there have been prophetic words spoken over their lives pertaining to leadership in our church. One example was in the Moose Jaw location. On a Saturday night, a member of the church had a dream clearly showing a Filipino man in a leadership role in our church. The next day, Jeremiah & Gerose visited Moose Jaw for the first time. When the person saw Jeremiah, he approached Pastor Rob and told him, "I had a dream about that guy last night - he was a leader in our church."
We affirm the calling on their lives and in our church. To that end, we are excited to be working on job offers and supporting their immigration to Canada. As part of the immigration process, they are required to return to the Philippines for a number of months. Their last Sunday will be October 4th. We have worked with them to ensure that the roles that they currently fill in our church will be supported in their absence. Please join us in keeping Jeremiah & Gerose, and the immigration process, in prayer. We are grateful for the Lord's favour and continued guidance as He directs our steps. |
