Wealth & Wellness - Financial Transformation Program 

A 9-part series of a financial wellness program for participants located in the DMV

Offered in partnership with the Latino Economic Development Center and the Office of Women’s Initiatives (OWI), powered by WACIF.

Get tools and create systems that allow you to manage your finances with ease. Develop your 6-month money strategy with accountability along the way!

It is said that “you are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with.” Surround yourself with other like-minded participants and support one another on the path to wealth.

Meet the program facilitator! - Lyndsae' Peele

Lyndsae' Peele, MBA, PMEC™ is a results-driven finance coach, international speaker, and black wealth advocate. She received her BA in Broadcast Journalism from Howard University, her MBA from the University of Maryland Global Campus, and her certification in Women’s Entrepreneurship at Cornell University.


"As the Chief Wealth Officer of the Wealth & Wellness program, I am able to use my gifts to transform the mental, emotional, and financial lives of so many deserving people. It is an honor to be a blessing and for our impact to refill my cup."

She is the Chief Wealth Officer of the award-winning financial services company Kingdom Vision Consulting. Lyndsae' combined her years of banking experience and her passion for economic development to create a socially conscious organization specializing in personal and business finance for entrepreneurs of color. Kingdom Vision has been honored as the SBA’s 2022 Maryland Financial Services Champion of the Year.


Lyndsae’ was also recently appointed as the new Kiva US Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Manager. She supports a portfolio of 35+ community-based Kiva lending partners (called Hubs) and their 40+ staff members (called Capital Access Managers) across the US and Puerto Rico. They aim to expand access to capital and drive financial inclusion with non-traditional, no-fee, no-interest, crowdfunded financing in their communities.


Lyndsae’ thrives on her ability to serve others through public service and board engagement. She volunteers her time as a certified SCORE mentor, the Vice President of the Greater Baltimore Black Chamber of Commerce and O'Hara Development Partners CDC, and business advisory committees such as The Women Entrepreneur Leadership Lab (The WELL).


She is committed to living out her life’s purpose to strengthen business ownership, increase homeownership, and decrease the financial illiteracy rate in marginalized communities

Who is it for? 

The Wealth & Wellness– Financial Transformation Program is offered free of cost to people residing in the following counties in the DMV area: 

  • Washington, D.C.
  • Arlington County, VA
  • Alexandria City, VA
  • Fairfax County, VA
  • Montgomery County, MD
  • Prince George's County, MD
  • Howard County, MD

 

How many participants will be accepted into the program?

Limited spots are available. We will accept up to 50 participants who meet the qualifications for this program.


How much does the program cost? 

Thanks to our generous funders, there is NO COST for those qualified applicants who are accepted into the Wealth & Wellness – Financial Transformation program. (The program is valued at $1000 per person). 


Is there a deadline to apply? 

Applications close on Wednesday, June 18, 2025.

3 - Notification of acceptance 

If you are accepted into the Wealth & Wellness – Financial Transformation program, you will be notified by email with more in-depth details about the program and the Kick-Off event. If you are not accepted, you will also be notified by email.
