About the 2026 Conference

Move over Barbie, this is a job for the Mythbusters!

Do vaccines cause autism? Is fluoride harmful? Is scurvy just for pirates?

Pediatricians are answering questions like this every single day to help parents make informed decisions that are right for their family.

That’s why the theme for this year’s conference is Mythbusting Pediatrics! Topics will focus on busting myths in pediatric healthcare, including a pre-conference training on AI in healthcare from ambient documentation to custom GPTs, presentations on Type 1 Diabetes, Autism, ARFID and more. Don't forget about our exciting Saturday keynote presentation with Dr. Tommy Martin!

And make sure to stick around Friday evening for our annual awards dinner with a special talk from Dr. Sue Kressly, former AAP President!

The annual Pediatric Infectious Disease update will be featured on Saturday afternoon with presentations on PANS/PANDAS, vitamin K, and more.

Our conference is open to anyone interested in pediatric health, including: pediatricians, family medicine physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, residents, interns, medical students, and social workers. CME and MOC 2 credits will be offered for physicians. Certificates confirming participation will be offered to other attendees.

  • Describe how AI technologies are being used across healthcare today.
  • Explore practical examples of AI-enabled workflows, tools, and applications relevant to healthcare professionals.
  • Evaluate the potential benefits, limitations, and risks of adopting AI tools in their own work environments.

The training will take place in the same educational room as the rest of the conference, on the 5th floor of the CALS Main Library in Downtown Little Rock, on Friday, September 11th from 9 am to 11 am.

Don't forget to add-on the free pre-conference training ticket when you register for the conference!
