The Owner - Heather Edridge
My love for travel started at 15 years old when my family took a trip to the Bahamas. I had never seen water that color before, and something in me just clicked. From that moment on, I knew the world was something I needed to explore.
I launched Bon Vivant Escapes in 2021 and honestly, it never felt like a risk because this is exactly where I am supposed to be.
I specialize in luxury travel, and I take that responsibility seriously. I travel the world myself so I can give you real, firsthand knowledge about the destinations and experiences I recommend. From trekking to Machu Picchu and venturing deep into the Amazon Rainforest, to gorilla trekking and safari in Africa, cruising the rivers of Europe, and exploring the stunning cities and coastlines of Croatia, Budapest, the UK, France, Germany, and Portugal - among many others. I’ve experienced these places firsthand so you don’t have to wonder. My promise to every client is simple: I will always make sure the investment you make feels worth it, and I only put my name behind places and experiences I truly believe in.
But for me, travel is about more than beautiful resorts and incredible experiences. I truly believe that getting out of our comfort zones, experiencing other cultures, and connecting with people who are different from us makes us better humans.

My passion for travel comes from a deep belief that some of life’s most meaningful growth happens when we step outside of our comfort zones and experience the world in a new way. Travel has an incredible way of shifting perspective, creating connection, and leaving you with memories that last a lifetime. That passion is what led me to become a luxury travel advisor—helping others experience the same sense of adventure, wonder, and connection that travel has brought to my own life.
As both an avid traveler and travel advisor, I’ve been fortunate to explore incredible destinations around the world, including trekking to Everest Base Camp in Nepal, cruising the Galápagos, exploring Iceland, Egypt, Jordan, Europe, and immersing myself in the cultures of Vietnam, Thailand, and Cambodia—just to name a few. These firsthand experiences allow me to provide honest insight, trusted recommendations, and thoughtfully curated travel experiences tailored to each client.
With a professional background as an ER nurse, caring for people, staying calm under pressure, and managing every detail with precision comes naturally to me. I bring that same level of personalized care and organization to every itinerary I design, whether it’s a seamless luxury escape, bucket-list adventure, or family vacation.
When I’m not planning dream vacations or working in healthcare, I’m spending time with my family, dreaming about my next adventure, or planning my future in Costa Rica—a place that has truly captured my heart.

When you've spent 35 years married to a pilot, travel stops being something you plan and starts being something you live. I learned early on how to turn a last-minute departure into an adventure, how to navigate airports like a second home, and how to find the extraordinary in destinations most people only dream about. What started as a lifestyle became a calling.
That behind-the-scenes world I grew up in gave me something most travel advisors simply don't have, a genuine insider's perspective on how the travel industry actually works. I know the questions to ask, the upgrades worth pursuing, and the details that separate a good trip from an unforgettable one. I've stayed in the properties, walked the streets, and done the research so you don't have to.
