Plant Spirit Medicine Training Course

In this course, you will cultivate your ability to listen, interpret, and build relationships with plants. You will also spend experiential time outdoors with the plants, as well as in clinical practice learning the healing principles of Plant Spirit Medicine. You will develop assessment skills, including pulse diagnosis and five-element theory, and learn what a person needs at a root level to bring balance to the body, mind, and spirit. 


Upon successful graduation, students will leave with the training necessary to practice with clients and promote themselves as Plant Spirit Medicine Healers.



 

Class Format:

  • A series of in-person intensives with intersession homework and Zoom calls
  • Class will consist of 6 in-person, 6-day Sessions, broken up over 18 months, as follows: 

Week 1 March 24th -March 31st 2027

Week 2 June 23rd -June 30th 2027

Week 3 October 6th – October 13th 2027

Week 4 February 16th – February 23rd 2028

Week 5 May 31st-June 7th 2028

Week 6 September 13th – September 20th 2028

  • Building relationships with plants, and learning how to listen and interpret their wisdom
  • The principles and protocols of effective healing
  • The art of pulse diagnostics 
  • Assessment and treatment skills honed through clinical work
  • Five element theory and how it relates to healing 
  • The ingredients necessary to reconnect people to their hearts, souls, and path in life
  • Clinical practice hours


Lodging + Amenities (included in tuition) : 


  • Held at The Nest, in Mebane, NC, a modern rural farmhouse on 7.5 wooded acres, with an additional 112 acres next door at the Eco Village community available for our use.
  • On-site camping and indoor dorm space for cots, mattresses, and sleeping mats. For those who prefer a more private option, there are local hotels and inns nearby (cost of hotel not included in tuition).
  • Indoor amenities (showers, bathrooms, electricity)
  • Healthy, gourmet meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner


Certification Details:


  • Upon successful graduation, students will have the training necessary to practice as Plant Spirit Medicine Healers. If opted for, students can also join The Temple of Sacred Fire Healing and receive a Lay Spiritual Healers certificate. They are also eligible to join the Plant Spirit Medicine Association. 


Tuition Breakdown: 

Tuition includes the cost of meals, lodging, and administrative fees.

Alison Gayek

Plant Spirit Medicine Healer and Teacher

Alison brings a wealth of knowledge to her healing and teaching practices with nearly 30 years of experience. She trained under Eliot Cowan, and began her clinical practice in the late 1990s. In 2002, Eliot Cowan invited her to begin teaching with him and in the ensuing years became a fully trained teacher of Plant Spirit Medicine.
