Hi, I'm Dr. Val. Naturopath and Wholesome Food Enthusiast After years of helping my patients identify root cause issues including food intolerances, nutrient deficiencies and other conditions all impacting their health, I have decided to add a Nutritious Meal planning service to educate, inspire and simplify the preparation of healthy meals for you and your family all based on dietary preferences or requirements. My desire is to merge my background in Naturopathy to work with clients that have both mind and body challenges. UPDATE- As of January 2023 I have successfully completed the program and am now a Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider (CMHIMP). I will be collaborating with my friend and colleague Janean Furdock, MS, LCSW, CMHIMP Candidate to holistically serve clients in the BODYMIND arena. The fusion of nutritional and herbal medicine are vitally important. My clients often ask me, "Dr. Val, what should I eat?" I must confess, I struggled with giving actionable solutions. Another question often asked is if a certain diet or food is good for them. My response is simple, there is no one right diet for everyone but I feel confident that I can provide you with easy, simple and adjustable solutions. For nutrition to be effective, diet must be tailored to the metabolism of each person. Nutritional needs are often determined by genetics and their biochemistry which varies with age, and life stages. I believe that food is fundamental to good health. Proper nutrition plays a vital role in every process in the body. What people choose to eat directly impacts how they think, feel and function.
