Clean Waterways Cleanups

Clean Waterways Cleanups have engaged with over 8,400 volunteers to help remove over 155,000 pounds of litter from the Anacostia watershed since 2014.

Our cleanup events focus on removing harmful litter like plastics, increasing shared stewardship of the Anacostia, and engaging with our watershed community.
