| Step inside the Charles F. Lott Home and experience the fascinating world of Victorian mourning.
For this special tour experience, the historic Lott Home will be transformed with period-inspired mourning decorations as volunteer guides explore the rituals, traditions, and customs surrounding death and mourning in 19th-century America.
Discover how Victorians expressed grief, remembered loved ones, and incorporated mourning into everyday life—all while exploring one of Oroville’s historic homes.
Memento Mori cookies will be provided by the Oroville Docents Association.
Date: Saturday, October 24 only Tour Times: 1 PM • 3 PM • 5 PM Admission: $5 cash at the door Tours are limited to 10 persons. Tours begin promptly at the scheduled times, so please arrive early.

- The tours are not recommended for children under 10 years old.
- The Charles F. Lott Home is a historic house with stairs. Visitors must be able to safely climb and descend steps to participate in the tour.
