Liturgical Ministry Volunteers are Essential!

Please email if you can help.

Church Offerings

St. John the Baptist has always had a strong history of stewardship, and we have been blessed by the generosity of our parishioners in both easy and difficult times. With that in mind, please prayerfully reflect on your ability to share your financial gifts with our parish. Please know that we rely entirely on your generous donations to continue operating and providing the ministry to serve the Lord and our brothers and sisters in Christ. We are most grateful for your continued support. Thank you!

Why Register for Mass?

Social distancing and the wearing of face masks are two of the most effective ways to limit the spread of COVID-19. To insure safe social distancing in Church it is necessary to seat people who are not related at least six feet apart from each other. This requirement severely reduced the number of people we can accommodate in Church at any single Mass. Registering for Mass allows us to know who plans to come as an individual, as a couple or as a family so that we can:

- Maximize the use of available pew space

-Save sufficient space for those who are planning to attend

-Recognize when we have reached capacity and need to close

registration in order to provide for your safety

Registration, then, is a courtesy to both you and to our volunteers, who have been so helpful in seating attendees quickly and efficiently. While we will continue to accommodate “walk-ins” (people who choose NOT to register), we will ask them to wait to be seated until 5 minutes before Mass starts or until all registered attendees have been seated, whichever comes first.

We are NOT asking you to register in order to take attendance.

We are NOT asking you to register to facilitate contact tracing.

IF you register by phone, please do so by 4:00 P.M. FRIDAY.

(Telephone registrations are not monitored over the weekend.)

If you register on-line, please do so at least ONE HOUR before Mass.
