TAKE ME TO ICELAND >

Day 1: Arrive in Reykjavík

Welcome to Iceland! Upon arrival, you will be met at the airport and transported directly to our hotel. Our home for the week is Hotel Kriunes — a relaxing, family-owned boutique hotel perfectly situated to explore all the highlights of Iceland. Once we're settled in, we'll take a leisurely walk around the picturesque Kriunes Lake, located just outside the hotel, to stretch our legs and soak in the serene surroundings. Later in the evening, we will meet for our first yoga class, followed by orientation and a group dinner at the hotel.

Day 2: Golden Circle Tour

Today we will embark on a tour of the Golden Circle, a famous route through southern Iceland. Our first stop is Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site uniquely located on the tectonic divide between North America and Eurasia. Next, we’ll visit the Geysir Hot Springs, where you can witness the world's first known geyser. After a delicious lunch at the Geysir area, we’ll continue to the majestic Gullfoss waterfall, where an astonishing 141 tons of water cascade over the edges per minute—prepare to feel the mist! After returning to the hotel, we’ll enjoy an afternoon yoga session followed by dinner.

Day 3: Reykjavík & Sky Lagoon

After morning yoga and breakfast, our adventure begins! First, we’ll drive to the Sky Lagoon, where you can relax in the rejuvenating waters while taking in panoramic ocean views. This geothermal spa offers an immersive experience with its seven-step ritual, designed to leave you refreshed and renewed. Afterward, we’ll head to Reykjavik for some free time to explore the city’s vibrant culture and enjoy lunch at your leisure. We will return to the hotel in the late afternoon for yoga and dinner.

Day 4: South Coast Tour (Waterfalls & Glacier)

Today the adventure continues to Skogafoss Waterfall, one of the biggest in Iceland. We continue on to Black Sand Beach to marvel at the basalt columns and caves and then travel on to the small fishing village of Vik. We will then head back along the south coast to see Seljalandsfoss Waterfall and the Secret Waterfall, before driving to the stunning Sólheimajökull Glacier. In the 1930’s, Sólheimajökull, which had up until then been growing, suddenly started retreating and today it is hard to pinpoint its exact size. This is why the glacier is often nicknamed “The Shrinking Glacier” and many travelers visit the glacier due to the fact that in a few centuries, it might not still be there. This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! We will have dinner at a local tavern before returning to the hotel.

Day 5: Hvammsvík Hot Spring

Rise and shine with morning yoga followed by a nourishing breakfast. Start the day with a peaceful walk around the serene Kriunes Lake, soaking in the natural beauty just outside the hotel. Next, we’ll visit Hvammsvík Hot Spring, a natural geothermal oasis where you can relax in warm, mineral-rich waters while taking in the breathtaking Icelandic landscape. Afterward, we’ll head into Reykjavik for a delightful dinner at the renowned Apotek restaurant.

Day 6: Free Day in Reykjavík

Rise and shine with morning yoga followed by breakfast. Today is a free day to explore Reykjavik or participate in options excursions (horseback riding, glacier hiking, whale watching). Evening yoga will be followed by dinner at the hotel.

Day 7: Reykjadalur Valley Hot Springs Hike

After morning yoga and breakfast, we will head out on an optional guided hike of the Reykjadalur Valley. The name Reykjadalur means Steam Valley and you will understand why when the valley opens up after the hike. The valley is filled with hot springs and mud pools, and there is even a hot river in which we will have the opportunity to bathe! Afternoon yoga and dinner will follow at the hotel.

Day 8: Trip Concludes

After breakfast together, our trip will conclude and you will be transferred to the airport for your flight home.

Please note that exact timing and details are subject to change with each trip.
