Aliza Lopez

Aliza Lopez is a nationally recognized health advocate, holding a BA in Health, Behavior, & Society and a Certificate of Achievement in Community-Engaged Learning from the University of Rochester. As the founder of The Reconceive Project and Medicine Encompassed — reaching thousands of students across 40+ countries — she aims to democratize health resources, provide experiential learning opportunities, and increase youth involvement in global communities. She led her organization to produce 500+ resources, launched a mentorship program with reach in 4 continents, and arranged health education workshops and events for students around the world. Aliza has worked with various organizations to assist with their programming, outreach, and initiatives, such as Headstream as a Program Coordinator, the American Heart Association as part of their National Youth Leadership Council, and the Youth Peer Support Action Summit as a partnership with Mental Health America and the Copeland Center. She has been recognized with many accolades, including the 2023 mPower Award by Mental Health America and being a 2024 Her Campus & e.l.f. Cosmetics’ 22 Under 22 Honoree. In her career, Aliza hopes to continue advocating for health equity, mental wellness, and inclusive social programs.
