YOUTH TRAVEL BASKETBALL

The Hilliard Davidson Boys Basketball Program will be hosting various events for our youth Wildcats currently in grades 3-6 over the next several months. Below you will find information and registration for upcoming events in which your families will have the opportunity to become involved in our program, learn from our coaching staff, interact with our high school players, and improve your skill set at the game of basketball.

Our CATS Hoops Youth Program is the foundational cornerstone of our middle and high school teams. This program has been established to provide boys with the opportunity to play and learn the game of basketball in a fun, competitive environment. Our mission is to encourage elementary-aged boys to become active in the sport by emphasizing skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and competition in a positive, supportive atmosphere.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Fall Youth Skills Series

Skills sessions are for boys currently in grades 3-6 and will focus on fundamental skills development, individual skills improvement, and competition. Players will have the opportunity to with Coach Congrove & staff, as well as our current high school players.

Session Dates & Times:

Tuesday, Sept. 5th • 7:00-8:30 PM

Sunday, Sept. 10th • 1:00-2:30 PM

Tuesday, Sept. 12th • 7:00-8:30 PM

Thursday, Sept. 14th • 7:00-8:30 PM

Sunday, Sept. 17th • 1:00-2:30 PM

Location: Hilliard Davidson, Main Gym & Field House

Cost: $75 for all five sessions (or $20 per session)

8th Annual CATS Hoops Tailgate

Join us to celebrate the program before the football team takes on Olentangy Orange. All families affiliated with the Hilliard Davidson Boys Basketball program are welcome to attend. This includes our CATS Hoops Youth through our High School program.

Event includes:

Food, Music, & Games (Cornhole, Kan-Jam, Basketball, etc.)

CATS Hoops Youth Travel Tryouts

These tryouts are for boys currently in grades 3-6 who reside within the Davidson attendance area. Our program plays within the C-League and will host multiple teams per grade level if the number of participants allows us to do so. Two tryout sessions will be offered. Attendance on both days is preferred but not necessary.

Tryout Dates & Times:

Sunday, Sept 24th • 1:00-2:45 PM (Parent Meeting at 1pm)

Thursday, Sept 28th • 6:00-7:45 PM

Location: Hilliard Davidson, Main Gym & Field House

Cost: FREE to tryout, $375 per player upon making a team
