We're looking for 30 volunteers so if you haven't had the opportunity to help with the paper distribution, or it's been awhile since you did, now's your chance to help families who really need your help. Contact Karen Daudelin at [email protected] to sign up.

Through the month of December, Just One is asking for School-Aged Children's Socks!

Update from the Creation Care Team!

We are happy to announce we are now able to collect for recycling, used plastic deodorant containers, toothbrushes, and toothpaste tubes. In the past, we have given out eco-friendly detergent sheets.

Wesley United Methodist has been collecting used pill bottles to send to Matthew 25 Ministries in Cincinnati, Ohio for several years. Thousands of bottles have been collected, cleaned, sorted, bagged, boxed and mailed to the organization in Ohio.

Thank you for the wonderful donations of bottles saved, labels removed and donated by members and friends of our church!

Creation Care Team seeks volunteers to come help when enough bottles have been gathered for sorting and shipping. Matthew 25 stores the bottles to fill requests from around the world when there is a known need for them to be used for medications for needy people. Pharmaceutical companies donate pills in large quantities. Medical mission volunteers fill the bottles with amounts prescribed for the patients who come through the many clinics.

Thank you for the wonderful donations of bottles saved, labels removed and donated by members and friends of our church. This is a great way to REDUCE, REUSE and RECYCLE♻️ plastic bottles. In July, four boxes containing a total of 1089 bottles were mailed to Matthew 25 Ministries.
