| Open your heart to the gift of the season and wisdom of nature. Join father and daughter team Roger and Taran Collis for a Nature Retreat to explore spiritual practices that strengthen our relationship with the natural world.
Day Retreat includes:
- Nature walk, outdoor Tai Chi, journaling, meditation, restorative yoga, Ayurveda refreshments and optional sound bath.
Roger will begin our day sharing from his 50 year association with the Findhorn Community in northern Scotland. This pioneering spiritual center and ecovillage exploring models for a new consciousness on the planet that honors "the sacredness of all life” in co-creation with the intelligences of nature. Inspired by the abundant beauty of Taft Gardens, Taran will share techniques that support the process of tuning in to invisible dimensions of life in a harmonious relationship with Gaia.
This day together is a time to explore ways to build resiliency, heal divisions between humanity and nature, and imagine together a hopeful vision for the future. Through a variety of nature inspired practices we will reflect on our current relationship within the dramatic changes to our climate, and our inward response as we listen to the deep wisdom around us. There will be opportunity for time in silence, journaling, nature walk and restorative yoga.

This is designed for nature lovers, those working in community, individuals feeling anxious about climate change and anyone needing time to retreat from their busy life and replenish. Ayurveda refreshments included. Bring your own lunch for those staying for the full retreat and Sound Bath with Trinity Sound.
This retreat will be the ultimate in self-care, restoration, and relaxation set amidst the beauty and grandeur of Taft Gardens. Full Day retreat includes sound bath ticket (10-4pm) $125 or Half Day Retreat Option 10-2pm $75. A portion of the proceeds goes to Taft Gardens. All participants receive full access to the gardens until sunset. Limited overnight accommodation available Nov 3-5.
