Elementary Summer Camp

Although we are in the midst of winter, we are excitedly awaiting the coming of summer! With summer, also comes the opportunity to facilitate programs for our St-Laurent Academy families and extended community. St-Laurent Academy is pleased to be offering summer camp programs for Elementary Students.

St-Laurent Academy is pleased to offer summer camp opportunities for elementary students. This summer, we will be providing in-house, in-person programs that focus on Multi-Sports, Interactive Games, Art Adventures, Drama and Music with our team of amazing teachers and staff! In addition, students will enjoy a weekly field trips, a visit from special guests (ex. Little Rays Reptile Zoo) and outings to the splash pad!

We hope to offer 4 weeks of summer camp programs to our Elementary students from July 2nd - July 26th, 2024. Please note, summer camp programs will move ahead with a set minimum number of campers. Camp fees are non refundable. Fees will be refunded should we not receive sufficient campers to move ahead with the camp. Any updates regarding the running of camp programs will be sent out in June. Registration will be offered as full day programs. Keeping the mind and body active is our goal!

Summer Camp Overview & Themes:

Each summer camp week will include and offer a full array of activities such as Multi-Sports, Interactive Games, Art, Drama and Music, while ensuring all weeks incorporate and focus on it's own unique theme. While the activities for each week will remain the same, the themes will ensure each summer camp week will vary and be engaging in different ways. For example, our first week of camp, July 2 - 5th, will include Multi-Sports, Interactive Games, Art, Drama and Dance, however, the programming will incorporate the overall theme of "Around the World". Students will also participate and play in many activities indoors, having full access to some of the school's classrooms, music room and gymnasium, while also enjoying plenty of time outdoors at the school park and community splash pad!

Summer Camp Weeks Available and Cost:

• July 2-5, cost $350 (Monday Stat Holiday), 8:00am - 4:00pm
• July 8 - 12, cost $375, 8:00am - 4:00pm
• July 15 - 19, cost $375, 8:00am - 4:00pm
• July 22 - 26, cost $375, 8:00am - 4:00pm

Summer Camp Themes:

Summer camp activities offered throughout each week:

Multi-Sports

Participants will have the opportunity to hone their skills of more common sports, such as soccer, basketball, ultimate frisbee, volleyball and spike ball. At the end of each week, participants will be able to show off a variety of skills practiced, as well as knowledge gained around sports safety.

Artistic Adventures

Find your inner artist! Students will be encouraged to express their creativity and imagination through various art forms! Crafts, drawing, painting, outdoor art, music and digital art will all be part of each summer camp week.

Music & Drama

We are very pleased to incorporate Music and Drama into our summer camp programs to further enhance your child's experiences related to the Arts. Music will focus on the fundamentals such as, genre, rhythm, beats and introduction to various instruments. Students will also enjoy the dramatic arts and will be introduced to plays, monologues, miming, improvisation, theatre games and musical theatre!
