All of our businesses are experiencing significant business interruption as a result of the unprecedented effects of the COVID-19 pandemic - especially those who did not have an online presence.

In an effort to help businesses become more resilient, adapt to the new normal and transition to a stronger online presence, the City of Coral Gables presents a Technology Workshop Series. The free workshops and subsequent course material are designed to give businesses the information and skillset needed to improve their selling capability beyond their brick and mortar stores.

The technology workshops are divided into three groups: (1) a digital boot camp with online marketing essentials; (2) an instructional and comprehensive program to add an e-commerce component to your business; and (3) learn how innovative apps can help businesses make sales.

Digisults, a digital marketing coaching firm led by Miami's Grow with Google Digital Coach Vicente Pimienta, will help you understand the changes occurring in our economy and how to adapt your business process to take advantage of digital technologies.

CREATING AN E-COMMERCE EXPERIENCE

Wednesday, February 24 & Thursday, February 25 at 1 p.m.

Adaptable Security (ADA), with its top industry expertise and experience from Silicon Valley and Big Tech centers of innovation, will focus on creating an online store with secure payment options, cybersecurity, risk management, data privacy and security compliance to ensure customers feel safe doing business with you. Fridays, March 26, April 9 & 16 at 3 p.m.

Dr. Sara Rushinek, one of the world’s top automated trading systems experts and business technology Professor at the University of Miami, will introduce you to Search Engine Optimization (SEO) topping the Search Engines Results Page (SERP), and digital innovative apps that will make it easier to automate workflow, raise revenues, reduce costs and increase engagement with the consumer.
