| Q. Are you still accepting vendor applications? A. While all of our vendor spaces are full for the 2026 event, we will always accept your application. By submitting an application, you will automatically receive the application announcement for next year. Here is the vendor application link.
Q. What happens if it rains? A. The event will be held rain or shine.
Q. What time is the event? A. We have a new time this year: 9am - 3pm!
Q. Is there any food available? A. Yes! We have several food vendors serving a variety of cuisines. Check out our vendor list here.
Q. I'm attending the event; where do I park? A. We have ample free parking at MPT for our attendees. If our lots fill, we have arranged for overflow parking at the JCC (3506 Gwynnbrook Ave, Owings Mills, MD 21117). We have a free shuttle running between MPT and the JCC, just look for the shuttle signs.
Q. I'm a vendor at the event; where do I park? A. All vendors must park at the JCC (3506 Gwynnbrook Ave, Owings Mills, MD 21117). This will ensure our shoppers have first parking priority.
Q. What's the difference between an MPT store and a vendor? A. MPT stores are set up in the MPT hallways, Studio B, and Studio C. All items are either MPT novelties or have been donated by our staff and alumni. Vendors are the wonderful artists, crafters, and collectors who have spaces in the Kaplan studio, out on the plaza, or in the "visitors lot."
Q. What forms of payment are accepted at the Market? A. MPT stores accept (and prefer) cash and credit cards. Many vendors also accept Venmo, Cash App, or Zelle. But you can't go wrong with cash for our vendors as well.
Q. Can I sign up to be an MPT member at the event? A. ABSOLUTELY! We truly appreciate your support; simply visit the MPT table in the lobby for membership assistance.
Q. If I buy something at the event, where does the money go? A. This event is produced by the MPT Foundation on behalf of Maryland Public Television (MPT). All MPT store proceeds and vendor space fees directly support the MPT Foundation, helping fund quality programming and community engagement events across the state. Vendors keep 100% of their sales—MPT collects no commission.
Q. Are pets allowed at this event? A. While we love pets of all kinds, we ask that you please leave them at home for this event. As always, service animals are welcome. |
