The Children's Museum Preschool plan many special activities that engage the families and the community. Some examples are visits from the Fire Department, Dental Hygienists, and Librarians and of course interactions with the Children’s Museum, located on the floor below us. We have weekly Lessons from one of the many talented museum educators, and we visit the animals and other exhibits.

We welcome family involvement. Parents, grandparents or caregivers are welcome to volunteer. Many like to come in and read, help with art activities and other events that are happening. Plus, we have weekly center-wide dance parties!

For professional development, some of our teachers will be attending the National Association for Education of Young Children Conference.
