The Clean Sweep is an annual volunteer event focused on removing trash and invasive species to restore the health of the Great Miami River. It’s an opportunity to learn about our river, and it’s a time to join with your community to accomplish something vital and worthy on behalf of our Great Miami River. This cleanup is coordinated by many partners, attended by hundreds of wonderful volunteers, and helped through the generosity of sponsors. Free t-shirts for pre-registered participants who register by September 1st! There is a badge available for boy and girl scouts who participate.

Come out to Armco Park for a morning of fishing! Families can bring their own fishing supplies or borrow ours for free, and bait will also be provided. No fishing experience is necessary, just a desire to learn! Families can also learn about fish that are common in our waterways, and make a fish craft. Pack a picnic lunch and extend your adventure!
This program is free, open to the public, and preregistration is recommended so we can plan accordingly.

Participants should wear close toed shoes and dress for the weather as we will be outside the whole time. This program is recommended for ages 4 and up. Because of the full moon, flashlights are not necessary, but you may bring one if you wish.

This volunteer opportunity is open to anyone ages 5 and up. The Friends of Warren County Park District are generously providing water and snacks for everyone participating. If you register before midnight on October 18th you will also receive work gloves to keep.
