Meet our live ambassador animals and enjoy lots of fun activities and a craft. Explore the park and maybe even pack a picnic lunch.

The Armco Park Golf Course presents Junior Intro to Golf, free lessons for children ages 5-14 who want to learn more about the sport. Bring clubs if you have them; we have a few if you don't. Classes meet daily from 9:30-10:30am. Choose from one of three sessions!

Come learn the basics of flat-water kayaking, from general strokes to proper gear, all while enjoying the nature at Armco Park. This program is led by Ohio Certified Kayak Instructors from Warren SWCD and Warren County Park District. For ages 12 and up (under 18 requires a participating adult to accompany them during the program). Program is FREE but space is LIMITED. *Class has a maximum limit of 10 participants due to instructor to participant ratio* Participants will be in sit-in or sit-on-top, single kayaks. All boats, paddles, life jackets will be provided.

Play in the creek with us as we hunt for fossils and creek critters. Wear safe footwear and clothes that can get wet and dirty. If you prefer to stay on land, there will be lots of activities and a craft, too, or explore the park & pack a picnic lunch.

Join us for a casual night hike to experience nature after dark and discover the magic of hiking at night when the full moon lights the way. We will stick to easy terrain as we watch this full moon at Gulley Park.
Participants should wear close toed shoes and dress for the weather as we will be outside the whole time. This program is recommended for ages 4 and up. Because of the full moon, flashlights are not necessary, but you may bring one if you wish.

Celebrate bats at Armco Park with our partners from Warren County Soil and Water Conservation District, the Cincinnati Museum Center, and South Dayton Wildlife Rehab! Participants will have a chance to meet live bats, learn about how important they are in our ecosystem, and go on a hike to search for bats in the park.
Participants should dress for the weather and wear study shoes. This program takes place both inside and outside. Registration ends 24 hrs before event.
