1. The Tory Burch Foundation

2. LISC Acquisition Capital for Small Businesses & Non-Profits

LISC LA’s Asset Building for Communities of Color (ABC) program was created

3. The Black Cooperative Investment Fund (BCIF) information. (LOAN)

Founded in 2016 and launched in January 2017, the Black Cooperative

Investment Fund (BCIF) is a a 501(c)3, community-based organization rooted in

self-help economics that provides microloans to the Black community through

pooled dollars and raises awareness about the importance of economic

empowerment, equity, and wealth building for the Black community.

4. Veterans Business Outreach Center –

The Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC) program offers resources to

veterans who are interested in starting or growing a small business. There are 22

locations (soon expanding to 35) and they offer workshops, training, counseling,

5. Warrior Rising Grant - Warrior Rising strives to accept and assist veterans at any

point in the process of starting their own business, whether it is only a concept or

if they have actual operations. Funding of $20,000 -

6. Wish Local Empowerment Program - You must be a Black-owned business with a

brick-and-mortar shop within the United States and less than 20 employees. If

selected for the program, you must join Wish Local (which is free). Grants for up

7. Minority Business Circle - Supportive network for diverse entrepreneurs in

9. Juntos Crecemos Hispanic Digital & Delivery Program (PepsiCo) - PepsiCo

is inviting Latina entrepreneurs who work in food service to apply for eight weeks

10. Inflation Reduction Act Community Change Grants Program

EPA’s new Environmental and Climate Justice Community Change Grants

program (Community Change Grants) has announced a Notice of Funding

Opportunity for approximately $2 billion dollars in Inflation Reduction Act funds in

environmental and climate justice activities to benefit disadvantaged communities

through projects that reduce pollution, increase community climate resilience,

and build community capacity to address environmental and climate justice

11. Equity and Access Public Participation Grant

The PP Grant Account cap per organization of $15,000 will ensure a proportional

distribution of funds over time and across various organizations. Submissions for

19. Amber Grants

The Foundation awards $10,000 to a different women-owned business every month.

There are also $ 10.000 Monthly Grants for Startups, Non-profits, and Business

Category. At the end of each year, 2 of the 12 grant winners are awarded an

20. Business Interruption Grant Fund

The Entertainment Business Interruption Fund (BIF), funded by the American Rescue

Plan (ARP), is designed to support qualified small and micro businesses that serve the

Entertainment Industry in Los Angeles County (County).

Must be a for-profit business with $3 million or less in annual gross revenue AND

at least 70% of revenue must come from the Entertainment Industry sector.

Must have experienced at least a 70% loss of revenue due to the COVID -19

Pandemic from March 1, 2020, to present, as well as the 2023 double Hollywood

Strikes between May 1, 2023 – November 30, 2023.

Must be located in the highest, high, and/or moderate impact areas on the

COVID-19 Vulnerability and Recovery Index. Businesses in the low and lowest

21. Equity and Access Public Participation Grant

The Public Participation (PP) Grant Account is intended to remove financial and

capacity-based barriers to participation while creating a flexible and accessible process

to apply for and receive compensation. Organizations are compensated for their time for

participating in day-to-day CPUC activities that drive and influence policy decisions.

23. Awesome Foundation Grants – 

Foundation distributes $1,000 grants, no strings attached to projects and their

creators. At each fully autonomous chapter, the money is pooled together from

25. Freed Fellowship Grant– 

Every month, one $500 grant is awarded to an underrepresented founder in the

29. Clean Vehicle Grant Program

The Clean Vehicle Assistance Program provides grants and affordable financing

to help income-qualified Californians purchase or lease a new or used plug-in

hybrid, fuel cell, or electric vehicle. Our goal is to make clean vehicles accessible

and affordable to all who qualify.

The Grant program is for California residents who live in a disadvantage

Emergent Ventures Grant/Fellowship Application (through Mercatus Center at

George Mason University) - Emergent Ventures, a fellowship and grant program

from the Mercatus Center, seeks to support entrepreneurs with highly scalable,

“zero to one” ideas for meaningfully improving society. Projects will either be

fellowships or grants: fellowships involve time in residence at the Mercatus

Center in Northern Virginia; grants are one-time or slightly staggered payments to

33. California Film Commission Tax Credits- The California Film Commission

administers the Film & Television Tax Credit Program 3.0 which provides tax

credits based on qualified expenditures for eligible productions that are

produced in California. The $1.55 billion program runs for 5 years, with a sunset

date of June 30, 2025. Each fiscal year – July 1 to June 30 – the $330-million

funding is categorized in: TV Projects, Relocating TV, Indie Features, and Non-

Indie Features.

34. Topanga Canyon Interruption Fund Grant

Team DEO in partnership with Supervisor Lindsey Horvath are providing much

needed relief to businesses significantly impacted by the landslide that shut

down Topanga Canyon Boulevard in March of 2024. The new Topanga Canyon

Business Interruption Fund (BIF) will offer grant awards for up to $10k.

36. Metro $ 1,800 Mobility Wallet Pilot Program.

The City of Los Angeles and Metro are offering residents of LA County a chance

to participate in the Mobility Wallet Pilot Program. Participants will receive a

prepaid debit card with up to $1,800 for a year to be used for eligible

transportation purposes. Participation in the Mobility Wallet Pilot Program will

be limited to 2,000 participants.

37. The American Rescue Plan- Stay Connected for Upcoming Grants

The American Rescue Plan provides $1.9 billion in funding to LA County to build an

equitable economic recovery from the devastating economic effects caused by the

COVID-19 pandemic.

Los Angeles County is working to address inequities and transform underserved

communities that have been hard hit during the pandemic with investments from the

American Rescue Plan Act and other funding sources. Through December 2024 a wide

range of service providers, vendors and businesses will be needed to achieve these

objectives.

38. Al Fresco Outdoor Dinning Program- Application Deadline—12/31/2024

The City of Los Angeles will increase department services and resources to

support restaurants, cafes and eateries seeking to transition to the streamlined

permanent Al Fresco Outdoor Dining Program from the pandemic-era emergency

program. The Mayor’s Office is working closely with City Departments to

implement strategies that alleviate bottlenecks and reduce timelines, and make

processing applications as easy and transparent as possible.

The Legacy Business Recovery Grant Program offers grants up to $20,000 to

eligible Legacy Businesses that need financial assistance to aid in their recovery
