| Join Maryland Technology, a division of the Maryland Tech Council, for our third annual Digital Transformation Summit on March 31, 2022. The event will be held in-person at the Maryland Jockey Club. Sessions will also be livestreamed.
It's a brave new world and this year's event will bring you topics including 5G, metaverse, customer experience via inclusive design, digital twins and cool emerging tech companies. Attendees will hear from leaders in the technology industry on how they are solving problems related to digital transformation and their takeaways of top challenges and opportunities over the past year.

| Session 5 Digital Twins with Health Focus The increasing use of digital twins in the healthcare industry has led to some truly remarkable breakthroughs. Among other innovative applications, digital twins are being used by health organizations around the world to fulfill the promise of personalized medicine by allowing physicians to leverage data and numerous variables to model the best course of treatment for a particular patient. And yet, even greater potential exists. Research into use of digital twins has been expanding to new areas of care, including: drug and medical device development, disease modeling, advanced modeling of the human body, and hospital operations. During the discussion, we plan to explore potential use cases, impacts, and challenges across the health ecosystem.
