CAR DONATIONS BENEFIT FOOD BANKS

WHAT IT IS:

A way for you to get rid of an unwanted vehicle, receive a tax deduction, and gain the satisfaction that you have made a substantial contribution to Food Banks throughout Northern California. Food Banks are currently experiencing more than a 50% increase in demand for food distributions. That number is only going to climb with skyrocketing unemployment. Please consider that the net proceeds of a donated vehicle, (96 cents of every dollar) go directly to food programs, and one in four people receiving emergency food are children.

Please encourage others to do the same. Our goal is to donate $100,000 to the Contra Costa Solano Food Bank.

HOPE INITIATIVE COVID-19

WHAT IT IS:

A nonprofit project dedicated to furthering the social cause and sharing rigorous scientific information on COVID-19 with Latin American countries.

Each week, we produce and distribute the free Newsletter COVID-19 in 20 Spanish-speaking countries across Latin America. The Newsletter contains relevant pandemic-related scientific information in Spanish. This information is otherwise unavailable to those that need it in their native language. Distribution of the Newsletter has expanded exponentially since its inception in April 2020.

WHAT IT IS:

A free, online training program that teaches you to help professional healthcare workers from your home or in the field through videos and exercises. Volunteer Surge worked rapidly to adapt this program to prepare you as efficiently as possible for the immediate crisis.
