Supreme Court Brokerage Case Under Way

Montgomery vs. Caribe, stemming from a truck crash in 2017, kicked off this week in the Supreme Court. This case examines the liability that a freight broker would have in regards to truck accidents where the carrier's insurance liability does not cover the extent of the damages. The lower courts have been split on the case so far so the Supreme Court will decide moving forward. Read more by clicking/tapping below!

Layoffs Hit Transportation and Logistics

Over 11,900 American workers in the transport, logistics, and manufacturing sectors have been laid off over the past five weeks. This figure will probably increase as the holiday season progresses.
