NO TO BJ’S AT EXIT 56

We, the undersigned, oppose application PZ-39 for a ±106,700 SF BJ’s wholesale club with a 16-pump gas station, and commercial uses that may include a ±7,600 SF sit-down restaurant, two ±2,800 SF quick-serve restaurants with drive-thru lanes and a ±16,000 SF strip commercial building with a drive-thru at 569-573 East Main Street. These uses are not allowed in this zone, the application is inconsistent with recommendations of the Plan of Conservation and Development, and its construction will irreparably change the character of this segment of East Main Street. We urge you to DENY this application. Thank you.
