It was Spring... but rather chilly... sorta Winter-y.... but sunny like Spring.... Call it an in-between seasons day --perfect for Purim!
And perfect for another Sisterhood Walk & Talk at Or Chadash.

| Chilly but sunny W&T
Feb 25th was a crisp winter day, but members of Sisterhood bundled up and enjoyed a walk along Foothill Rd as well as great conversation together afterwards inside Or Chadash.

Healthy Drinks Fest 2.0 was great fun! |

It was too rainy for our Walk on Sunday, January 28th, but we were "Seeded in Sunshine" inside at OC!
That was one of the 6 flavors of juices/smoothies from Grounded For Life that Sisterhood sampled, which included: Revive Me, Starburst, Green Love, and Mighty Mango. But the real treats were the contributions from our very own Karen Tovi-Jones and Jackie Freedman! Karen brought a beautiful tray of fixings to go with her Golden Milk, which she made fresh and warm for us right on the spot! Jackie treated us to so many of her culinary delights! She made dairy kefir and brought granola and blueberries for toppings. She made cultured veggies; we got to try red cabbage and carrots. PLUS, she brought three flavors of her kombuchas: lemon jalapeño, lavender, and chai. We thank Karen and Jackie so much for their time and generosity!
February is around the corner, and we hope to see you at Alicia Hubbard's Bat Mitzvah and for our Walk & Talk on February 25th! |

Sisterhood enjoyed the beautiful sunshine on Sunday, October 15!
We had a great group of ladies enjoy the walk down Foothill Road and back.
We also enjoyed time chatting and noshing in the Sukkah.

WALK: The Columbia Trail is a wide, flat graveled path, mostly shaded by trees -- easy walking. Parking available in a lot off of Main Street, across from the head of the trail.
TALK: Scout's Coffee Bar & Mercantile is located at 11 Main Street in High Bridge. Parking available on Main Street and also in the parking lot at the head of the Columbia Trail.

Feb 5th Healthy Drinks Fest |

We had a great bunch of ladies come for the Healthy Drinks Fest on Sunday, February 5th! Together we sampled juices from Basil Bandwagon as well as homemade golden milk from Karen Tovi-Jones and a selection of homemade kombucha flavors lovingly prepared for us by Jackie Freedman. We loved Jackie's presentation, complete with show-n-tell! Have you ever touched a scoby? Thanks to Jackie, we learned all about the process of making kombucha. |
