Hello EVA families! As always, there are technical updates on the way, and we are here to support you through any challenges. Please follow the steps below for a seamless transition to this update.
This update involves how you log into your school provided laptop. If you do not use a school-provided laptop, you do not need to worry about this update. Students who enrolled this year may not need to do this update either. If your computer does not have an ORVA student login option in the bottom left-hand corner of your computer login screen, you will not need to follow the steps below.
Step 1: Make sure your documents are backed up in your OneDrive
Once you can no longer login to the ORVA student login on your computer, you will not be able to access the documents you have saved on your computer. Making sure your documents are in your OneDrive account will keep them accessible to you. There are a couple of ways to do this. One way is:
Step 3: Once your computer restarts, click on "Other User" in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen BEFORE entering your username and password
Beginning November 8th, students will no longer be able to log using the ORVA Student option.
Step 4: Enter your username and password
Username: student's EVA email address ending @evergreenvirtual.org
Password: Student's birthday - the first 3 letters of the month with first letter capitalized, 2-digit day, and 4-digit year. EXAMPLE: if birthdate was October 7th, 2023, the password would be Oct072023
