| Crowley Main Street is now hiring for the Main Street Director position! If you are interested in helping to preserve, promote, and revitalize Historic Downtown Crowley, this is a great opportunity for you. The Main Street Director leads the execution of the Crowley Main Street Program, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization responsible for preserving and restoring Crowley’s Main Street District as the center of life in Crowley. The director will work closely with the Crowley Main Street Board of Directors to develop revitalization strategies for downtown Crowley, coordinate committee activities, plan and execute downtown events, and oversee ongoing public awareness and business education programs. The Main Street Director is responsible for the implementation of the Main Street 4-Point Approach for downtown revitalization. The Director will also be responsible for working with downtown business and property owners to coordinate property improvement efforts and encourage a cooperative climate. Applicants should have experience in one or more of the following areas: marketing, public relations, economic development, retail development, historic preservation, business or related field. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, but an equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered.
