Economic Council Helping Others (ECHO) Inc. of New Mexico serves to provide resources and education to individuals and families on their journey to improve their lives.

ECHOS' Administration Hours of Operation: Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Each Programs hours vary; see program descriptions below for specific hours of operation.

Outreach

As funding allows and donations are provided, the outreach team takes the mobile bus, "Big Bird", to Schools, Chapter Houses, Churches, and Community Centers during the spring, summer, and fall months.

We welcome speaking engagements to share about our programs and/or set up an info booth.

The Emergency Food Box (EFB):

Focus: unhoused and non-residents of San Juan County.

Availability: 4 times a year per household

Eligibility: none


Drive-up or Walk-ins welcomed

City Of Farmington Bill in Arrears:

STATUS: OPEN

Focus: Low-income individuals facing a crisis situation (hospitalization, car broke down, funeral expenses, etc.)

Availability: Year-round - available a few times per household & crisis, & non-consecutive months - case-by case.

Eligibility: COF resident, under 200% FPL, crisis situation



Appointment Only - no walk-ins

SNAP - Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program

Availability: Year-round, Assistance by Appointment. We are mobile & can visit various communal locations & assist over the phone.

Availability: 2 times a month per household

Eligibility: San Juan County Resident & under 200% FPL

NTUA, Aztec, Bloomfield, Kirtland, etc.

Eligibility: San Juan County Resident, under 200% FPL, crisis situation

CSFP: The Commodity Supplemental Food Program

Focus: Seniors 60+

Availability: 1 time a month per household & can also receive TEFAP

Eligibility: San Juan County Resident & under 200% FPL

Back-to-School Clothes

Focus: Low-income families


Availability: As funding allows annually per household.

What To Bring: ID, proof of San Juan County residency, school registration, income for last 30days

FaN: The Food and Nutrition Program

Focus: Individuals with medically prescribed diet food boxes tailored to their needs.

Availability: 1 time a month per household; can also receive TEFAP & or CSFP

Eligibility: San Juan County Resident & under 200% FPL, & doctor's note

What to Bring: proof of SJC residency & doctor's note

San Juan County Rent:

STATUS: CLOSED
